Guest Guests Posted 07/08/08 12:06 PM Share Posted 07/08/08 12:06 PM Oh Oh ask us about clutches.....Kick it to me, kick it to me!!The one thing I can say about clutches that I've learnt the very hard way (numerous times thanks to Xtreme clutches) is buy something tried & tested in the first place. I used 2 different types of the Xtreme cerametallic clutches, had a few rebuilds along the way, & 2 of their flywheels before I bit the bullet & bought a Phoon AP Racing twin plate... Best money I ever spent on the car

I went to Karrinyup shops and he was in the car park somewhere looking for a park and then all of a sudden we pulled into car parks opposite each other at the same time! Had a good chat with him for a while Had a look at his exhaust and it convinced me to get some 3" tips welded onto the end of the standard rear muffler....so that's getting done now. Also SilhouetteT I talked to the exhaust dude this morning about my grinding / knocking noise and he thinks it could be the dump / cat section rubbing on the chassis rail (it looked very close when I had a look last). I know you have youngy's BA section on there so have a close look sometime. I let you know soon if this was the problem.Nice private rego mate

Guest Guests Posted 08/08/08 01:26 AM Share Posted 08/08/08 01:26 AM ^^^ On the money with the AP Racing clutch price unfortunately The MW Option 3 is probably the best bang for buck clutch around & it's reported by Mal himself to of been on a 400+rwkw ute for over 12 months with no dramas
