Brendan, you will get permits for CAI and FMIC if its done properly. There will be no issue and you can insure them (with certain companies only though. HBF dont like mods for example).

My problem is, if its legal and permittable, you shouldnt need one! Also if the cop wants to yellow you, they will just say it needs to be checked again.

Permits are about $50ish last time I checked and you could have 5 items.

Insurance companies would just use your ecu modifications against you if they were to do anything.

Thanks mate.

Esky, the 20's looks great..good choice!

Also had my plates re made in white writing on black. Slimline front and fullsize for the rear. The full size rear looks crap IMO, should have stuck with slimline.....keep this in mind trendsetters!

Very nice choice, suits the car perfectly!

I cant even remember who got the fine? SA? just pay it and smile could have been far worse.

Mat you could have had another trip with those fines.

Steph you are in the same boat ( I've been there too just try and be wiser about it now - should get one of those little attachments)

Brandan email me a pic of your plates please, almost decided on what to put on the new plates hadnt really thought about size...

You rekon the full size rear looks crap? I think it actually fills in the rear area nicely, since there is a pretty large spot there for it.

I agree 100% the front needs slimline for sure.
