Guest newl Guests Posted 19/03/08 11:54 PM Share Posted 19/03/08 11:54 PM Luke, that brand rings a bell. I think someone was talking about them recently. Ahh, it was Ross (nang3). These two links are probably the most informative.Marangoni Mythos Tyres - Where Do You Get Them? Marangoni TyresNewl, go down Ninka's path if you have the cash...the two peice DBA rotors look really nice!Brendan, the two piece rotors (the 5000 series) are over twice the price, $790 each versus $360 for the 4000 series rotor. Not sure I can justify twice the price just for a little bit of reduced weight and heat dissipation (plus the cross drilled and slotted look hot)

Saw the result and thought hell yeah. So had to strip it all off, mask up all the rims, use scotch brite stuff to roughen up all the surface over the whole rim, then they were painted after masking them up again.A bigger pic from last night and then this morning Edited 20/03/08 12:16 AM by XF Falcon

Not sure what I hit but heard a thud the a "thwack thwack" sound. Pulled over and found the inner shoulder of the lhf wheel had a chunky missing out of it and the steel cord had been ripped from the tire....New front tires for me... Whats people thought on Marangoni's?That's tough Luke, and I am sure it's not what you need right now (or at any time I guess).Dont know anything about Marangoni's, but I got Hankook S1's on my rears a few months ago, and they perform well.
