I was planning on some mods for my T and the question of what to do with the cat and dump pipes has come up. I'm only planning for around 300 rwkw (I hope) so I'm NOT looking at a system that can handle 450rwkw.Question 1 Do I need to change them both for this amount of rwkw's? No.Question 2 Do I only need to change the cat, or only the dump pipe? Only the Cat. If the answer to 1 or 2 was yes please go to question 3 If the answer to 1 or 2 was no thankyou for your help and have a nice day. Question 3 What sort of prices would I be looking at to get one or both of these? I paid 385 for a 5" catco cat to be delivered to Perth (will not be a restriction in the exhaust).Question 4 Has anyone had some great service from a place that they would like to recommend to me or someone to go and talk to? I'm north of the river but will travel! Simon Birch at Extreme, local hero with these cars. Thankyou for your help.. I've gone down to see Simon twice this week but he hasn't been there so I've called him the last 2 days and he wasn't there also......Anyway he is the man to see about the T's from what I have heard. His offsider, cant remember his name, told me about the system that Simon has, but I didn't really want to spend the 1700 spendoolies on a cat and dump that he quoted me!!! That's why I'm asking if there is a cheaper option going around or what other people have.He also said that by going the exchange injector system that they use is better than going for the Siemens 60 pounders. Cost is about 700 clams. I know alot of people on here have gone to Simon's and is the option they have chosen?So the plan is for a stage 1 PW cooler, Capa box with custom tune and injectors...... already have the 2cai and k&n filter. I'm positive with a new cooler, injectors, CAI, filter and custom tune in your BF you will easily beat 270rwkw (I'm not expert though).I ended up going for the 60lb Siemens injectors. I've heard nothing but good news about them on these forums, and I've read numerous times that they are good for up to 400rwkw, which is way more than what most of us intend to achieve. Plus even after paying the cost for fitting, I'll be about $100 bucks ahead of purchasing the re-drilled exchange ones through Simon. They take your injectors and replace them with the same ones that have been re-drilled. His offsider said that the Siemens have a greater variance with the injectors than the exchange ones which are bench tested..Who knows, just repeating what I was told...
