Guys ,I really want to dump my car with the kingspring set up .But I am worried about the ground clearance from my 4"dump and 5"cat set up.

Can I hear from people with the same set up (am I worried about nothing)or will this thing hit speed hump s,gutters etc? Also does mine appear to hang down the same or more than others?

Its a SMB setup,I think.

I have got the Lovell Springs and Magic Cat with standard dump. Mine scrapes on speed bumps etc but its not too bad, you just learn to be a bit more careful.

Hey people, Have recently bought the pod and gauge kit from the Pole position group buy.

I asked a question in the thread but have had no replies as yet so I figured ill ask here.

Now I know any auto spark could probably do it, but id rather have it done by someone that knows his way around an XR6T.

"Phoon and others - If your too lazy and dont have the time (like me) or dont have the mechanical know how to risk effing something up to DIY install (like me...), where in Perth would you recommend I try and get these installed??"

Any replies would be great guys...

hey boys! just a quick update on the build on my car. I have decided to cancel my order on the nizpro stage II+ kit. in the end I was just not happy and I believe there would of been too many compromises if I went this way. however I have decided to go with plazmaman instead for the intercooler and plenum. I have a spare motec m800 (adavanced options) ecu left over from my wrx racecar and I was thinking of using it on the typhoon. I have spoken to a few of the motec guru's and they warn me that air-con and cruise control may be at risk. I want to try and figure all this out before I go ahead with cutting wiring looms. photos and another update when the parts get here (they tell me middle of next week).

Hey mate,

Have you asked Simon from Xtreme? He could probably do it... Or if not, I use a guy named John at Autospark Rockingham. Tell him Dean sent you down and he'll look after you :hay:

thnx for that. im willing to try and get opinions from everyone at this stage. I spoke to tim slako this afternoon and he said they had a gt with a wire-in motec for three weeks and they couldn't crack the air-con or cruise despite help from motec themselves. I was happy loosing a few things like knock control and standard traction control (could also enable the tc within the motec) but not the air-con, no way! im not doing that again on a brand new car!!

I have to speak to my mechanic again and the wiring guru they use (glen bakker) and see what they have to say.

spoke to a few "ford experts" around town and was told to literally throw my motec in the bin!!
