To you West Aussies

I have changed my BF Magnet from stock with a Process West stage 2 IC, siemens, 2nd cia, 4' dump and cat and a tune from Simon @ Extreme

Anyway I come back down south to the dealer I brought my first ute off (was Compass) now Geograph Ford Bunbury owned by the Lanes I am led to believe.

Anyway went into the service dept and asked to speak to the manager and told him about the mods. Asked would they be prepared to cover warranty work with the mods and I was told.

The engine blows I dont think we could cover it because Ford asks for too many checks as far as mods go but as for the rest tranny, diff and anything else they would back me ( ok when or if it happens we will see but he seemed genuine )

Well needless to say this new mob have my business as well and they done my 30K service with a fuel filter and brake shudder wheel alignment and rotation and just like the old days washed vacumed and painted the tyres Michael Lancaster Member #5845958 I also had a tyre seperating which I asked to be replaced a 18" Dunlop all up $748 so I cannot complain, might be worth you fellas talking to them if they give you a hard time in the city

Mate I reckon you just did the right thing and they respect that. I deal with Titan Ford, and I dont care what others say, but I have always been straight up with them, no hissy fits or bitching. And I have been treated more than fair.. I have had over 60 hrs warranty work and never charged. My ute has been modded since 1500km old. The only time I got a bill was when BPT did my pump gears and stuffed my timing. Fair enough, its a long story but BPT ended up paying anyway.

It is up to your service dealer wether or not they tell Ford the whole story. The dealer wants to be paid and if they like you and you are nice, they might just try and swindle Ford instead of charging you.

I think its time to start organising another BIG cruise. I'll PM the man himself to put something in the calender and see if we can T up either the 10th or 11th of November. Plenty of timing and we'll make this one a BIG one! Cheers.

Good idea. Simon mentioned that maybe a cruize would be on, on the dyno day (Oct 20). Haven't heard any more.
