Yeah so DID I. I can't prove it was them but 90% of my fuel is from there.

Just spoke to my mate who’s in the legal profession. He seems to think if you had the receipts or bank statements which proved you fuelled up at that location on a weekly basis you might have a leg to stand. Best case scenario they admit fault and contribute to the cost of your repairs.

It stinks that you pay top dollar for the top of the wazza fuel and this is what happens.

I’d look into it mate. I just hope you haven’t been paying for your fuel in cash!

here are the details:

Thanks. Sounds like a good cruise. Twisty roads in the hills are the go. That way you don't have to break the speed limit to have some fun plus there's stuff all traffic. IH8TOADs and I are in at this stage.

Thanks Bonza, I appreciate the help!!! Most of the time it is on the card probably 75% of the time. I don't drive much though because I ride to work. Most of my driving is on the weekends.

I spent 6 months dealing with crazy Johns to fix my mobile because they reckon I was shafting them. I was sold a phone and when I took the phone back to be sent for warranty, the IME number on the phone, box, and contract were different. In fact Motorola who made the phone says it was never actually made?? Yeeeaaahh ok!!!!! After going back there 100 times, complaint to HO in the eastern states I finally have my pjone sent off...... except I haven't heard back from them... I reckon the fuel situation might end up to be a big fark around and get no where unless I deal with it through the legal system!!!

Just my 2 cents but I think something has to be done because if your car was effected imgaine how many other cars are. The problem with the servo may still be ongoing.

No kidding, id be getting a dog up em if that were my car. A bloke at the old man's work had a rusted out fuel pump in his Late model camira s. Turns out he only ever filled up at Caltex Claremont and they had water leaking into their fuel reservoir. Over the course of months it must have rusted out his fuel pump. He bought it to their attention and Caltex ended up picking up the bill for his replacement fuel pump. So not all these story's end badly. No harm in asking...

I'll be checking my fuel filter this weekend to see if BP Scarborough have screwed me over as well.

Another friend said the same thing. Chances are if I have the problem, others using that servo might as well.

Haa youngy said the same thing "I'm changing my fuel filter now". It's definately worth doing every oil change I reckon, because if she leans out with a tune, it's going to end badly. The fuel filter is often overlooked.

How often are people changing their fuel filters?
