Said they re torque all the intake manifolds and heatshielding as well as general service??Is this a piss take or does everyone do this? If not, what do you suggest or when and where do you service your cars??Cheers in advance............................

If you are only doing 6000km in 12 months then it's going to seem weird, but yes it should be serviced at least every 12 months (the way my kms stack up I go every 6 months). As for the price... its a bit hit and miss. It depends what dealer you go to and what day you ask them and what mood they are in. I have had servicings for $95 (I supplied oil and filter) and $145 including tightening bolts. Others have asked the same dealer and even mentioned that I got it cheaper, and they quoted $199 (Centre ford) plus oil and filter. To me 290 seems pretty steep, so shop around. Ask Matt at Centre Ford for a price, and if they give you a better price, ring your closest dealer and see if they can match it. If not, take it to Centre Ford. Guest Guests Posted 06/04/07 04:45 AM Share Posted 06/04/07 04:45 AM saw a white T this morning near Joondalup with Monarch inside. Hadn't heard of a white one prior but I'm sure it was a T. Only caught it out of the corner of my eye though so might have been wrong.
