Ay guys.. didint want to post this in the other section as its more a question for the WA crew.. anyone know where you can get a Auto Trans cooler supplied and fitted? are there kits for the BA and is there any company that would do it? or someone who wants to do a cash/beer job?

Also Transmission mods... anyone good in perth that can do BA Autos? or do you have to send it away like Alan did? how much would it cost returned including getting the work done?

For both cases talk to allan, he has fitted an eng oil cooler (F6 one I believe) and from what I can tell dont waste your time with anyone else, send your box to Kewish.

Simon and I offered to do yours awhile ago and you tired to beat us down on a price that was basically a gift... :spoton: I wouldnt recommend any trans places in perth. You'l be better off paying more intially first time and not having to repeat the process Like myself and Muzza420 had to using places in perth...

good luck

you had to make some brackets or something but didnt have time.. also you were not sure how much to charge for labour and you told me to ask simon and simon told me to ask you.. that's where we left it..

If your able to do it please send me a pm and let me know the costs!

Maybe ask Jordak as he had the same cooler that i had (thats now on allans) car fitted here in perth. The only thing is that his didnt(?) have a thermo fitted to it like Al's does and unfortunatly had to be located in front of the cooler when we my old PWR intercooler to his car. I thinks if the box hasnt failed you'l be looking at round $1500 to $1800 for kewish to do it but the real killer is going to be freight. But just for arguments sack i paid $2750 to have mine done in perth and less then 10 thousand k's later when Allan bought it off me it was pharked and I didnt thrash it and it only did 3 runs down the strip at much less than 300rwkw. In the end allan and i have to split a$3600 repair bill from Kewish so the sooner you get it done the better. While the car is off the road it would give you time to source a decent cooler for it...

At a guess the box and covertor are around 60 to 70 kg's. I could lift the box on it own but not with the convertor in it (there actually quite heavy) Im not 100% on what the do Pm Ninka he knows the drill inside out. You would probably need to see Simon about getting shift pressures adjusted once the box was modded. Although Allan did mention to me some new mod the Kewish are working on in regards to shift control but he didnt know exactly what it was or what the time frame was..

Yeah he mentioned something about there being a correlation between throttle % and shift pressures required... ie if you put your foot down you get hard changes but if you cruise it you get nice fluffy ones
