I was using the rear wing of one of those cool old all wheel drive Celicas under a car cover to leave my phone and keys so I wouldnt lose them. Niall, who owns the shop, tells me its a targa car and I take a quick peek and got all nostalgic cos I got to have a drive of a road car back in the day. So then the owner turns up and thankfully is not pissed at me for using his car for a shelf. But it turns out this thing is a an ex Carlos Sainz WRC that the owner uses in the major targa events. Its punching 600 hp and apparently it loves clutches and gearboxes. Its using a Toyota GT26 turbo too, apparently thoroughly hotted up. He was happy for me to grab a couple of snaps. Had some bloody good vantage points at times.remember one time being right on a crest and watching them hit it at 150 plus was awesome!!! Theres a ton of cooling in the nose including water sprays for extra coolage.
