I was only bending 2mm ally with it and it did it fine. It's limited to 90 deg bends though and I will want over 90 so I will probably do a bend and then use a wedge to get the extra 45 I need. Or I will use a hammer I soon learned the clamps that hold the top plate need to be closer to the job. The handles just slip in and out. Not screw in. It's a little fiddly to set up and stronger clamps to the bench would be good. But it does the job. You'd be most welcome to borrow it if you don't want to buy one.
