I dunno about MT using a std plate but a mate of mine had his flex go on him and had them fix it and hes had no dramas for the last 2 years as a daily 487rwkw behemoth. Personally id order the nizpro plate and get a local workshop with experience to fit it for me, having said that id also limp it there if its close enough.
