There are differences to each service to take into consideration.

MT do a Ford flex plate ARP studs with a heavy duty washer, lock tightened and torqued.

This is how I understood it and believe it was the standard Ford flex plate.

$770 + $150 for tilt tray (for me).

Total $920

Nizpro flex plate direct cost $285 + $30 postage

Simon form Nizpro said they use the Ford flex plate which is modified in sum way with laser cutting, stronger studs and specific instruction on how to fit.

$315 estimated delivered

XFT to supply Nizpro flex plate and fit.

$895 + $150 tilt tray.

Total $1045

Hi Torque in O'conner (5mins away).

Said box in/out $500 + cost of labour to inspect and fit new.

$500 + Nizpro $315 + $110 for tilt tray

Total $925 estimate

Alfred cove Automatic (5mins away).

Said they did a beefed flex plate about two years ago on XR6, and said at a rough price $800 + $110 tilt tray

Total $910

He was going to get back to me with details of what that flex plate was.

So that's where the prices are at.

I'd be taking to either MT or XFT, they would've done the job enough times to do it properly. But option 4 also seems convenient being only 5 mins away. Who ever get's you in the fastest?

Haha talking to the missus tonight whilst she was driving me around to see some new roads being built about the place.
I start telling her how it'd be cool to be able to practice drifting on the streets to try and wind her up.
She turns around and tells me she's happy for me to do it.

Dayum!

Oh well got the green light to blow money on the car either way :P

A mate of mine had a engine and gear box built there a while back and he said they put a fg f6 flex plate in? Claims its pretty strong? Any one else know about this?
