Yeah, Shannon's policy is pretty good.

I just wish they would charge less for my insurance on the XR6T, I've got it insured elsewhere for half the price that they want (but my bike and contents is through them).

When mod time comes then I'll probably shift it across to ensure it's covered properly though.

So, for anyone who saw the pissing me off post I made yesterday in the appropriate thread, update today is that I have to take it to a place called City Spray in Malaga to have it repaired.
Sounds like it should be straight forward, whether it ends up being that way will be another story yet.

Do any of you have a spare medium size helmet that meets the latest safety spec (I think about 3 years old)?

Need a helmet for passengers at Racewars this weekend and was hoping to avoid buying a new one!

Steve, I used my bike Helmut for the last performance day, but it s more than 3 years old.

I know it conforms to the an1694(???????) standard.

That is the best I can offer, but not sure if it will meet the requirements.

Thanks dude, it should have "AS/NZS 1698", not just AS1698

The NZ bit I think is the indicator for being the new standard which actually came in in 2006

What's yours?

Edit - also Snell standards are OK. This is from the regulations:

complying with AS/NZ1698 or Snell SA2010 Standard or Snell SA2005 Standard

All good man, thanks for checking!! I have two more chances with Phil and Mike. Both should be good just a question of if they fit or not.
