Hi Guys does anybody know a workshop that is able to do custom length hydrualic hoses with all different types of fittings and fit them to a car, I need some power steering and oil cooler hoses custom made and fitted.

Where should I go.

Well finished the car yesterday and after spending 9 hours on her including a proper clean on the wheels, under guards, suspension and brakes we're looking much better and was worth every bit of effort that's for sure. Service on Saturday and complete the inside.

speaking of cleaning wheels.... You have that cleaning gear Mick? or does Brennan still have it? and the catch cans..... ive got all of April off so should organise a catch up. Plus ive still got that intake kit you can have.

Got my ADO8r rears put on this morning....thanks again to tukangbaso for mentioning the hook up!

Only done 15kms so far, and can still spin the tyres pretty easily, but I'm assuming they will need a few hundred kms to get them 'worn in' and hopefully grip will be improved

Very honest and awesome dudes at Wheels & More Osborne Park (they don't like using that name but apparently need to be part of a franchise to obtain the distribution rights for Yokohama tyres)....they also fixed the f*ck up Fraud made when installing my Whiteline sway bars...will probably give them my business when I finally install the billys + kings....then suspension setup should be awesomesauce lol

Information on breaking in tyres

Tires are comprised of many layers of rubber, steel and fabric. Due to these different components, your new tires require a break-in period to ensure that they deliver their normal ride quality and maximum performance. As tires are cured, a release lubricant is applied to prevent them from sticking in their mold. Some of the lubricant stays on the surface of your tires, reducing traction until it is worn away. Five hundred miles of easy acceleration, cornering and braking will allow the mold release lubricant to wear off, allowing the other tire components to begin working together. It is also important to note that your old tires probably had very little tread depth remaining when you felt it was time to replace them. As any autocrosser or racer who has tread rubber shaved off of his tires will tell you, low tread depth tires respond more quickly. Don't be surprised if your new tires are a little slower to respond (even if you use the exact same tire as before). Their new, full depth brings with it a little more tread squirm until they wear down.

Are they proper semi slicks? They need to be warmed up before they grip properly don't they?

Yeah that has always been my concern. The Goodyear EF1A2 are ridiculously good in the wet....but not expecting these to be anywhere near them. But when speaking to the boss dude, he rekons they are still good in the wet. Although each persons interpretation of 'good' can differ significantly lol

And they are not a proper semi slick. They are advertised as road tyres that can be used at the track....(so somewhere in between road and track tyres). 180 treadwear ....so if I can get 10-15,000kms I'll be happy with that (another seller said he had customers get 20,000kms+ but no doubt those cars were not heavy cars like ours).

do a few burn outs to scrub them in.

LOL....nah, I'm gunna try and let it do its thing naturally. I'm sure they will get better after a few hundred kms. Treadwear pattern is this: (same rims even except mine are a gunmetal grey type of colour)

Thanks for the tip! I might follow these directions and try not to go too hardcore in the beginning lol
