Rocking the ATR Sport 2's right now, fairly worn on the rears but OK on the front.

It normally is in a big tin with a rod that sticks inside and it has a petroleum like smell.

Had this on my Subaru Liberty some years ago... on the rear though. Whuring/vibration that increaced with speed, only over 60/70km/h. Replaced wheel bearings with no change of noise. Ended up being the tyres being out of round (flatspot). Annoyed the crap out of me for ages, moreso because the tyres were still at half tread when I replaced them. Not saying its defiantly it but I would put it high on the list since its already been mentioned by the tyre store. I'll try and pay attention to the noise of the Invos when they go on dude. Ive had Sumi's, Nitto, Some cheap crap, bridgestone and Yokohama on mine.... all loud. 95% of it because lowered/stiff/20" low profile and a ute.... still want to trade my rims for some 19" one day... put some 40 profiles on the fromt Edited 21/03/15 01:21 AM by Krazy Kyle

If so, I've got a spare one at home you can borrow for a few days. Put it on and see if the noise goes away.No good on the FG but thanks anyway Phil!Had this on my Subaru Liberty some years ago... on the rear though. The issue - I live in Adelaide. So if anyone with a 2009 FG F6 MANUAL is in WA and wants a free carton - can you get back to me either on here or email - adamonline AT adam DOT com DOT auThat would be really appreciated. All Phil needs to do is measure it - so up on a hoist for a few minutes and that's it. Thanks guys, I appreciate it. (I'll be in Perth April 20th-23rd for work) I have gone down to O'Connor and Phill has measured up the shaft.I now under stand why he needed half an hour.5 minutes to measure things up and then 25 minutes to chat.I got to chat to him and got to know him. Seems like a top bloke and he was actually flat tack last week. He should have just said so.I am sure that when I get my next lot of mods done, my drive shaft will be done there first as it is a whole lot cheaper than these $1400 1000hp shafts everyone goes on about. Since a few of people here seem to have the INVOs now, does anybody else think they're noisy af? Sitting at 100 on the highway it's really loud, way louder than the Achilles ATR sport that were on it before. Had them on for about 1000km so they should have worn in by now (had full alignment done). Everybody seems to be getting maintenance done, I just had the car re-tuned and also got new diff bushes fitted, it's a new car now I swear.Well I got the invo's put in. I have been on two freeways today. On one of the freeways the tires seem to be the same amount of noise. On the other freeway it was a bit noisier.I think it depends on the tarmac. Roe highway was quiet as. Kwinana sucked balls and at first it sounded like a whinning diff, then I figured it was the tires when changing directions and overtaking.Still happy with the tires regardless especially for winter which is on it's way. tukangbaso New Member 17 Member For: 9y 11m 13d Posted 21/03/15 03:15 AM Share Posted 21/03/15 03:15 AM I've got the nexen nfera su1 I rate them highly for the price. Run them on the ute with 395rwkw and only running 245 40 18 and in my opinion they're better than the federal 595evo semi slicks that was on the car before. again its only done 3000kms old so can't comment on what happens after 10k but wear looks good. First 100km was really bad but after that he grip is amazing for the price. Quiet too so far. If I've wider wheels though I would try he advan 08r that's on special. thinking of tracking my car soon so will be interesting
