Nah, I don't have one. It'd be a bit difficult using one on the rear wouldn't it?

From what I have read up on the intermaweb, you can use the spring compressor tool on the front and the rear.

I am not sure how much the tool costs and if anyone has one already.

That's what I thought Arron, but I couldn't get them out. Doesn't matter anyway, I've bought some spring compressors, gonna need em for the fronts and on my brothers 4x4.

Get some stands and lift both sides of the rear and put the car on stands. With both wheels off and the bottom shock nut off it's pretty easy to remove the stock springs. Shorter springs should be even easier.

I was foiled by the control blades when I was trying to install new spring pads. I was able to change out the rear springs to shorter one myself no issues as the control blade was so shot. After putting the new shorter springs in and later having new control blade bushes fitted, I was no longer able to remove the shorter King springs when I had a go. Pissed me off!

But always remember "a tight bush is better than a loose one".

Thanks guys, so how did you get around that problem Steve? Did you use the spring compressors, or remove the 2 bolts holding the control arm? I should probably fit new pads while their out as well.
