^^^ hahaha Mick....what are you on about...that looks lovely

(I have no fkn clue as you probably already know - I felt proud when I managed to spray paint my turbo side airbox lol and not even that well)

If I had high power I would do every 20.

Don't you have Nizpro cars? Hahah...thanks for the tip on gulf western. I did read about it ages ago...but seeing as I pay for labour it will probably only be a couple hundred $ cheaper (last time I got the genuine ZF fluid really cheap I think..something like $500?)...but will research costs properly when the time comes.

Cheers!

Has there been much research/proof that the gulf western is 100% safe/suitable for our cars? I know a lot of the experienced guys on here have been using it....but hasn't it only been around for over a year and therefore there would be insufficient time to tell whether it performs as good as genuine?

I recall the Ford guy telling me that everyone used to use Tansmax Z or whatever....and that beginning of this year my Ford place told me not to use that anymore (or they no longer use it); due to what I assume was someones gearbox f*cking up and therefore not suitable?

But maybe that's because transmax had never specifically listed the ZF transmission (and our one ZHP26 or whatever its called)...and I think the Gulf Western definitely does?

But yeah...if all the big time guys are willing to risk their gearboxes on a product...I guess I will look into it when the time comes..

Oh really? Hmmm maybe next change I'll be a GW guy. I've had Transmax Z in mine for about 90,000km now, through two changes (one was a rebuild). About 40,000km on it since the rebuild so I'm due again I reckon.

Yeh its my wifes XR6 it has a 6 speed automagic. I changed the oil , flushed it and put on PWR heat exchanged. Both our Nizpro sponsored cars are manuals.

I must thank Luke for hooking me up with the GW oil.
