speaking of jumping ship, if the new AWD turbo 86 comes out next year im gonna be all over that like white on rice

ohh, and anyone looking to offload engine mods for the FG over the next month let me know...

- valve springs

- ID1000 or similar

- fuel rail/Surge to suit

- tune module

- maybe an exhaust

and did someone mention they picked up some front rotors for the 6 pots for less than RBS?

as for cruise, if some hands are put up ill set up a map for it

^^^BOO!!!!! lol

why would it be AWD? It would be a good combo though if it occurs..... looks nicer than a WRX at least.

Still rekon a stock FGT will chop it in a straight line....and that's all that really matters anyways :happy114:

Just wanted to give feedback to y'all WA locals after my recent dealings with Malaga Suspension. Can't recommend them highly enough! Their customer service is fantastic and I got my car back in the same condition it went in there. No BS and they seem really knowledgeable. Brett from Shockworks called them to discuss my install, as there's some things they like done when fitting their coilover kits and he was very impressed with his conversation with Todd. I'll definitely use them again.

I went to an 86 drive day out at the AHG track (same one as Marco organised) and they made our cars look like tanks Vs gokarts. They dont have the power that ours do on the strip but they out-do ours in all other ways. Was a couple of supercharged and turbo examples there.... mmmmmm.... friend of mine owns one. driven it a bunch of times and its the closest factory street vehicle ive driven to a race car. (well, you know, under $100k)

I would have thought Subaru wont allow to it hurt their AWD WRX sales. RWD would be the huge selling point, if you want AWD why not just get a WRX?

for those interested

http://www.motoring.com.au/news/sports/toyota/86/toyota-86-to-go-awd-turbo-45930

"According to the magazine, the force-fed 86 will be powered by a Subaru-sourced 2.5-litre turbo-boxer engine offering up to 225kW – effectively the engine from the latest WRX STI.

However, Best Cars says it will drive all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission to improve fuel consumption, and makes no mention of a manual option, which would be surprising."
