^^^ was that directed at me? LOL

If I could afford them then I would; but then again could get bilstein coilovers for $1900.

The bilsteins I have been asking about above cost $500 (and then I can flog off the springs it comes with and get SSL/SSSL combo) therefore saving me $650+ over getting new ones....

But IDK how harsh these revalved ones are gunna be....and cause I think he's running SSL's all round; not sure if the lower rear springs will negatively affect the handling I.e. when revalving I assume you do it to suit specific spring rates or something?

Steve.....you do plenty of kms....how long did your koni reds last you? Are they still in your car ATM or are you onto another set of shocks now? How can you tell once the suspension is starting to 'go bad' ? Just more bouncy....cause what if you have really stiff setup (like super stiff springs would feel similar to how worn out OEM shocks feel I.e. bouncing around the place?)

Shockworks FTW at that price point! Bilstein don't make a coilover kit specifically for the FG, so it'd be some bastardised version. Shockworks kit will destroy the billies and were designed by the guy who Ford contracted to design and tune the GT Rspec/GTF suspension...I doubt there's any man alive that knows these chassis like Brett. Give me two weeks and I'll have first hand feedback on then for you ;)

Don't waste your money on flogged out shocks and springs.

If you want to do it right the first time, save until you can get a Shockworks set of coilovers or similar.

Hahaha, only coz the Shockworks didn't turn up in time for me to have them fitted before I flew back up to site. They're getting done next break.

My Koni's are still on the car, they've only done like 50,000km I think, a lot of that is highway (hills to Osborne Park most days). I could probably do with taking them up to the mid point of the adjustment range though. I installed them set to softest.

Mummba's adjusted his koni's recently as they were on the soft setting which wasn't to good. They're on hard now, but can't remember what he said they're like now.

Yeah I'm interested to see how it changes the car. Lord knows I drive some bumpy roads and love to throw it into a corner.
