My renewal a few months ago was down on last year (as was car value) and I'm with AAMI as well. Maybe FGs are getting pranged more by younger drivers now they are cheaper. I do like one car length in dry and two or so in the wet (depending if I'm in the FG or not hahaha). And agreed with what everyone said last night...if you leave anything more than 1 car length, d*ckheads always jump in front and Perth has sooooo many sh1t drivers these days I'm seemingly the only B series Falcon driver that attends cruises these days so you can all suck it! Brendan is an exception but that was the Antilag cruise so only half counts.Everyone else probably sold and upgraded or wrapped it around a tree...hahahaha.....there's heaps of B series on the roads....people just CBF these days with going on cruises and stufflife being too busy and what not.....maybe you should annoy Toads or Senior Wiggum for the next cruise .....so you're not so lonely Who are you guys all insured with? Aami just finger bashed the f*ck out of me with my renewal - premium $200 up, agreed value $3000 down, excess up from $450 to $1200. Needless to say I'm going elsewhere!I'm with AAMI too....my premium went up an extra $10 per month (now $924 per year, so probably $850ish if I paid the full amount in one go). But I only have the FG insured for 15K as I have 'shortfall insurance' went I bought my car which covers the difference of my loan up to 15k if the car is written off...but hopefully it never comes to that...although I haven't checked my excess....they better not have done the same massive hike you described :/ Might give them a call over the weekend and confirm my 'new policy' with them hahahaI still maintain that AAMI will be the cheapest, the issue apparently is too many sh1t drivers crashing/wrecking their XR6T's and ruining it for the rest of us....that's the reason they told me for why my prices went up.
