Yeah I'm annoyed at missing the braided lines group buy but what can you do!

Might grab the $510 DBA4000s and buy the lines from RBS eBay store. Prefer the DBA4000 as they are made here and I've had good results with them for two previous sets, bonus is they look cool too.

Yeh I reckon the DBA are better than the RDA. But for brakes that arnt beaten to hard they will be OK. When you say 4000 you mean T3. I dont think they make 4000 anymore

I'm loving my new brakes alot better then whatever was on there before. The only thing is the new pads are producing a sh!tload of dust. The front wheels are black after less then a week!

One week, my wheels are black after 1 day

People's thoughts on Ryco OIL filters? I use their Fuel filters but I've had Ford/Motorcraft oil filters for a long time. I change at 7500km intervals. I ask because I'm hitting up Repco for the oil 5w-40 bargain today and need to get filters as well.

Stick with ford oil filters and fuel filters. Simon told me that

Yeah T3 is what I mean, "Club spec" box and all that. So used to saying 4000. Motorcraft oil filters it is.

I'm hunting the same, 4 changes will last me about 9 months I think, 5w-40 is close enough to 0w-40 for me and same brand oil so why not!

Was just reading about that. Since I'm all about brakes lately:

When it comes to performance brake rotors and calipers, size invariably matters. The available SRT Track Pack brake package on the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT® 392 features massive Brembo® 15.4-inch two-piece slotted and vented front rotors paired with beefy Brembo six-piston calipers and 14.2-inch rotors in the rear. The two-piece front rotors quickly dissipate heat under extreme use, while the aluminum hat reduces unsprung weight.

So that's 390mm fronts and 360mm rears. Full on.

New road rules coming in, have a read

http://www.ors.wa.gov.au/Road-Safety-Topics/Latest-Law-Changes/Road-Traffic-Offences-Penalty-Changes

Penalty Changes Road Traffic Offences

A suite of penalty changes under the WA Road Traffic Code (2000) legislation will come into effect on the Queen’s Birthday holiday period this year (2014).

Traffic offences subject to tougher penalties

The schedule of amended penalties is categorised into the
following broad groups:

  1. In-vehicle distractions including mobile phones and visual display units.

  2. Disobeying access control signs, e.g. failure to obey a left turn only sign.

  3. Failure to give way offences:

  • Failure to give way at intersections such as failure to stop for a circular red signal;

  • Failure to give way to vulnerable road users such as failure to give way to pedestrians at pedestrian crossings; and

  • Other failure to give way offences such as failure to give way to vehicles when turning left at an intersection with traffic control signs.

  1. Failure to keep left and overtaking offences such as failure to obey a ‘no overtaking or passing’ sign.

  2. Following too closely, e.g. failure to keep a safe distance behind vehicles.

  3. Drink driving infringements.

  4. Failure to wear a motorcycle helmet.

  5. Non-restraint use, e.g. failure to wear a seat belt.

  6. Speeding offences

  • General; and

  • Heavy vehicles.

Oh dear..

But its BS cause who's to say what is a 'safe distance' ... surely they don't expect all of us to use the '2 second' rule lol
