Cheers for the reply, didnt get PM. Got a 1 inch drive rattle gun which has 3/4 adapter. The ebay sites say its 35mm. I measured it and I think its 35mm. Would be sweet if you could hook me up with a few sockets maybe its 1 3/8 or could be 36mm. I was going to just rattle it back on. My torque wrench only goes to 150nm and it needs 300. If I can load some gear I will beer you up. I can pickup.

I'm pretty sure I used a 36mm. I torqued the first ford assembly to spec and it failed after a while. I got a mate to help with the second one (same drivers side bearing) and he tightened the f**k out of it and no issues yet! He used to service ford taxi's at the airport so trust his experience.

I watched one of the lads at XFT tighten mine the first time they failed...just about lifted himself off the ground to do that nut to 300Nm hahaha.

LOL how long is the torque wrench that you need to make 1500Nm stick?
