Driver Steve! The ute looked plain just tinted windows no tonneau or hard cover or anything, the only mod I could see was an aftermarket orange rope flapping around in the tub

Speaking of lubricant.

Picked one of these up from Repco Cannington for about $50 today.

Was marked at $74 I think, so not sure what happened there. Not complaining.

So no prizes for guessing what I'll be doing after the moto GP coverage finishes today.

Yeah good point Arron, I had left overs from last service so only needed one.

On the subject of useful tips, here's a couple I worked out today....

1, if you think you're being clever by putting your filter strap, ratchet and sump plug spanner in your oil drain pan so all your tools can be dragged under the car in one hit.

You are only actually clever if you remember to remove the filter strap and ratchet BEFORE you unscrew the sump plug.

2, If you pick up your 20L waste oil drum and it feels like there's already 15 litres in it, there's a good chance that the 6 litres you just dropped out of your sump and filter are probably not going to fit and some of it will end up on the floor of the garage.
