Well my ute is back in Perth. Got home about 3am last night. few detail of the trip:

Measured from Melbourne CBDish to home in Northan Perth suburbs, Left Saturday night, stayed in Ararat (only ~300kms from melbs), then Cowell (between Port Agusta and Port Lincon in SA)on sunday then the rest of the way on Monday (about 2300kms).

Totals

Distance - 3483kms

Time - 35.5 hours of driving time including eating

Fuel Used - 382.3L

Cost - $513 (not including the full tank from Melbourne, cheapest was melbs, $1.44, most exp was $2.09, all premium 98)

cant say I loved it, being my 4th time across. Def not planning another. car has now clocked over 50,000kms. sad day :-(. rained all the way from the Nullarbor Roadhouse to Norseman

Video shows us leaving the Nullarbor roadhouse, filmed at 1 frame every 2 seconds, so video shows about an hour of driving. just to give you an idea of how boring the trip is. hours and hours of nothing. uploading a better one as I type

pic of my ute 2day, bit dirty from many kms in the rain

Wow look at those white marker posts fly away from the car, think you need a tune, they are getting away from you hahaha.

Great to have you back in WA WA land dude, when do we drive 3 abreast through the tunnel then??

Bought a laptop for being on site. 8 days down 6 to go then back home. Laptop seems to have about 4 minutes of battery life (exaggerated but its sheet) so have to leave it on charge lol.

Finally being spotted around the place haha. Saw you when I was doing my medical for site Luke, wasn't sure if you had spotted me then as I was about text you I was beaten to it!

First full week pay today for being on site, its a significant change to my normal apprentice rates back in Perth haha

Yes I'm looking through carsales at B series FPVs...not going to buy one, just wishing I could.

I'll grab this one, in one of my favorite blues.

No wonder Tony took top spot at Racewars, awesome result too Ben, looks like you took that dump as well with a 10.1, you'll have to throw up next to further reduce weight, that's the extent of my drag racing advice so make the most of it.
