When I was in there a couple months back getting a new tailshaft he had a set of BIllet axles there for BA's... Not cheap but if you want bulletproof then ask him about them! Was dirt cheap for Phil to straighten them, but it was about 3 years ago now. At the time Phil told me he did heaps of Ford Ute shafts and unless going custom rear there was no alternative. One thing I remember after getting them done was how much quieter and smoother the ride was when cruising on freeway.

Never works for me with coat hanger wire, hahaha. Serious question though. Not sure what the process is but I would guess a lot of heat and knowing where to apply pressure to true the shafts to as close to new as possible. Still was about a 1/5 of the price of buying replacement OEM shaft from Fraud :O...........speaking about shafts. When to WAW last night for a look and spotted a black FG F6 stall up at the tree followed by a massive bang. Judging by the brown/rusty stain left behind I am guessing tail-shaft related.
