My ute provided me with a little wake up call this morning when I gave it a squirt on a bend in Welshpool.

It boosted up and started to send the car into a 2nd gear drift at about 70ks in which my anus snapped shut almost as quick as the throttle body.

Apparently my anus could be heard from 50 metres away.

Note to self - Respect the ute. With a bit over 400hp at the bags, this is not the same car it was a few weeks ago.

TC stays on Marco, but if the road conditions are such that the tyres will let go, I don't think TC will do much to stop them.

Most of the time the car hooks up and drives and it's predictable in it's power delivery, but I was just a bit hamfisted with it on a less than grippy surface and it let me know.

As you know with these cars, it only does what the idiot with the loud pedal tells it.

Utes are even livelier from what I understand, hence why I didn't give your machine any herbs when I was driving it on the weekend, similar power to mine but quicker spool and a ute, not to mention I was paranoid about even getting a stone chip on the thing!

Low 300rwkw is enough for me on the street that's for sure.

300rwkw+ and bucket-load of torque was fun in the old 4 speed BA ute, loved turning tyres in second :)

What made it even more fun were the load buddies fitted to the rear leafs so the rear end had very little give in it.
