Fk me !

The missus just discovered that the little readout on her new Mondeo dash that says she's got 13 km left before empty cannot be trusted.

I also discovered that its no fun trying to put fuel in the fkn thing while its raining cats and dogs !

Far out, I recently went through the same thing. The display said 34km till empty. I was half way to the petrol station which is two minutes away from home and ran out of petrol. Far out I was pissed. Never again will I let it go under half way.

ROTFLOL. There is a needle and it was just at the begining of the red block. I missed out on refueling the car last week wednesday as I was off sick.

Prices tend to fluctuate to much in perth. Yes I could have topped up and all. I believe 98 ron was 147 on that day and I wanted to fill her up.

Lesson learnt. won't happen again and no I was not doing any powerskids.

I just won't trust the remain km left till empty again.

Don't be too caught up with getting the best price, it doesn't make that much difference if you pay high prices a few times per year. In my case filling up last night cost me 2 demerits and $150...if I'd gone straight home instead of getting that 23L I'd have been on the split section of GEH and the radar equipped patrol car wouldn't have seen me...that's what I get for picking mum up from the airport!
