Stagea is a nice rig for the coin imo http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/nissan-stagea-2002-12255683http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/mitsubishi-legnum-1998-12364010

Don't be afraid to look over east as it's cheap to bring cars over & relatively straight forward to get them licensed, especially if they're fairly stock. I wasnt familiar with the whole out of state buying thing so didn't really consider it an option. What's the usual process, keeping in mind that I can't test drive/check it out myself as I don't really have money or time to travel to view them? Also looking at Forresters

Hope you get the XCAL back, wonder if it was taken by a worker who doesn't realise it is almost useless unless your car is flashed to stock... It's definitely worth taking a day off work though & just flying over early morning, having a few people with cars you're interested in meet you close to airport at staggered times, view them all & make a purchase if necessary. You can then arrange for immediate drop off at the holding yard of transport company, get cab back to airport, jump on plane & come home. All done in less than 24hrs, plane tickets can be had for under $500 return, transport can be had for under $1000.
