Had some awesome news today, and by "awesome" I mean "crap".

Took my ute for 7500 service and told them they'd best have a look at the diff as its gotten real noisy just lately, with a constant hum that I can also feel through my feet from 70ks to 110ks where it goes to a frequency too high to hear.

Anyway, it's rooted and another will be ordered and fitted under warranty.

Hopefully in a couple of weeks.

Glad it happened now though as there's lowering, big boots and a tune just around the corner !

Could look at it as awesome I suppose, new diff to support the new tune and suspension!

Was there an adequate level of fluid in there? If so, wouldn't you be asking yourself why the gears had worn themselves down to a point that they were making such a loud whining noise??

Yup will do.

Avoid Alexander and Morley Dr intersection. Police 4WD t-boned a car while in pursuit of another vehicle and killed mother, 16yo daughter in hospital. Tis messy trying to get through from reports.

That's what we've been discussing at work, not the slightest clue seems quite unusual.

Maybe cop wanted to be a hero? Na won't really diss on them until the full story comes out.

Far out, heard about it on the radio. They ran a red I think, had called for "urgent assistance" during pursuit of stolen car (found on fire somewhere afterwards) and one minute later were calling ambo.

Terrible for the 16 year old and her family to lose the mum.
