Im waiting till a turboknapp gets back from China so I can take his A6 tornado for a drive 1st.EDIT : its a tough call tho as the new opt5 clutch and modded shifter/detent/change too Penrite MGO70 have made the T56 really really nice too drive. Remove it and place a copper washer behind it(the detent assembly is a complete unit so you wont have springs and ball bearings flying around)You need a washer with an ID of 20 mm or 13/16's. I like the feel with a .7mm thickness washer under it but anything up too about 1.5mm seems too be okay.Try a couple of different thickness until you like the shift feel. I'd suggest you start with .5mm with the hurst shifter you have.When you put the detent assembly back in Put a little grease on the ball and thread sealant on the thread.attached pic is from a corvette but you'll get the idea Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
