BF2 , dont want too borrow to buy and Kesh wont stretch too an FG, Plus none of the bits I have now will fit an FG.

You'll be happy too know if I do buy one it will be A6.

The award for having no life and spending too much time on the forum.

My new years resolution is to try and keep my laptop closed.

Think that I might have spooted Luke yesterday afternoon 3:30ish giving it a squirt north bound West Swan across Reid. All I saw was a velocity blur and dark rims.

Getting an auto phoon Luke? Nice one man. Why change to auto, 1/4 mile result? Woulda thought if it's just for weekend wars you might stay manual.

My Wife won. End of story......................... :hang:

Nah, feel like a change. Still not 100% decided. Im waiting till a turboknapp gets back from China so I can take his A6 tornado for a drive 1st.

EDIT : its a tough call tho as the new opt5 clutch and modded shifter/detent/change too Penrite MGO70 have made the T56 really really nice too drive.

Arron if you have a look up on the RH side of the box just in front of the shifter housing there is a "bolt" (24mm/ 15/16's) that is the detent assembly. Remove it and place a copper washer behind it(the detent assembly is a complete unit so you wont have springs and ball bearings flying around)

You need a washer with an ID of 20 mm or 13/16's. I like the feel with a .7mm thickness washer under it but anything up too about 1.5mm seems too be okay.

Try a couple of different thickness until you like the shift feel. I'd suggest you start with .5mm with the hurst shifter you have.

When you put the detent assembly back in Put a little grease on the ball and thread sealant on the thread.

attached pic is from a corvette but you'll get the idea
