You don't want too many cruises IMHO or you'll get poor turnouts or they end up rubbish.

Better to have 4-6 really good cruises over the course of the year. Couple of good night ones in late spring / early autumn and day ones which start late morning on a Sunday.

Then lock the thread with the date and time only because the world doesn't need to know that someone can't come because they have their friends grandmas cats birthday!

I like the 1 a month timetable, it goes alright, if someone can't make it, it's not the biggest deal in the world because there will always be next month.

ROE is over the top, they have one like every weekend or something ludicrous.

If you run a cruise every month you'll get 15 people saying they will come and only 4 or 5 will!

Alternatively and since members like hanging around at meetpoints longer than most, perhaps organise a Friday night meet at munchies or something now it's getting warmer?

We dont even have to have a cruise , just meet , talk some sh*t, have a meal , a few beers and smoke the tyres all the way home.

I prefer to chat while doing parallel standing burnouts facing opposite directions.

It is true that the Perth XR6T 'scene' on this forum isn't that large. You may be right about every two weeks thinning numbers. It can also be a big hassle making a map up if you need to double check roads and things like that, maybe shorter more frequent cruises and yeah with more meet time. We do like to dribble sh*t! hahaha.

I like the idea of a regular meet for a chat at some food place!

Spotted ACID 240T on Main St/Wanneroo Rd this arvo. It was an acid yellow BA - no prizes for guessing that though. GT stripes as well.

jesus christ. need to phone a friend or get Bono and the UN involved in picking a cruise date.

I havent turned up to one because I cant be bothered reading through the 87 pages of which date best suits who's hair appointment (not that many of you would miss me anyway)

my 2 cents. cruise controllers pick a date and its a done deal. people can then schedule their life to suit and dont have to inform me about it.

It does take a sh*t ton more effort to get dates aligned with the majority...then half don't arrive anyway :) It's always like that though so I learned to print half the maps.

Opening new thread for you Tom, have at it! Lemme know if you want a poll added or just pick a date and post it up, I'm fine with either.
