Nerds, I need your help. I have around 700 tops to spend on a new pc.

Normal home / internet use. Watch downloaded / DVD movies, play music, itunes etc. No gaming

INTEL i3 2100 3.1GHZ 3MB

ASUS P8H61-M LE/USB3 DESKTOP MOTHERBOARD

SILICON POWER 4GB DDR3 RAM

WD CAVIAR BLUE 500GB 7200/16MB/SATA3

EVGA GT210 SILENT 520M/1200M 512MB/DVI/HDMI/VGA (512-P3-1311-KR)

SAMSUNG 22X SATA DVD-R/RW/DL BLACK

INTEGRATED SOUND CARD

GIGABYTE GZ M2 420W CASE

INTEGRATED POWER SUPPLY

W7 HOME PREMIUM 64BIT

INTEGRATED NETWORK

OFFICE 2010 HOME AND STUDENT

LOGITECH 320 KEYBOARD / MOUSE

Total comes to $760. Money reasonably well spent? From ple.

Office is $119 but I know people at uni and others suggest they get a copy for $20?? It's going in the study where I have a data point in the well (fibre optic to the premise) for the internet to run a wireless modem for PS3 etc if that makes a difference?

that's nowhere near enough for your pron collection.. your indigenous on animal bukkake hentai collection would fill that 4 times at least!!! 2TB for under $100 is where its at

That price is ok for retail, but some of those component choices make me cringe.

If you're not gaming, remove the graphics card as the CPU has onboard graphics that can run full hd video no problems. Also, see if they'll do Hitachi or Samsung hard drives as they're a few percent more reliable and cheaper than the Western Digital. Then put that money into a bigger hard drive, better brand of power supply and better brand of RAM.

Also, if you pay about $7 more for the retail version of Office, then you can install it on 2 PCs. The one they include with pre-built PCs is pre-installed and can't be transferred.
