Mines the big bertha Brendan 10 amp Mxs10, which still isn't really big enough! Also try Battery King in Belmont mate :spoton: Let me know if you want to use my "big" charge to give it a good charge, would only take about a beer to fully charge it

Cheers for the offer Luke! I like the beer/wait for battery to charge idea!

I can't see getting much done now this week as I'm refereeing car v power poles. Wet weather seems to bring out the best in some drivers.... :3gears:

Honda something... badge fell off at the site? lol!

Warning, don't take off your rear garnish or you might be compelled to bust out the touch up paint like I did tonight. Good tip from Mike was to space the garnish out a bit underneath. I used a layer of belt vinyl peeled apart! Holes were already there to put the bolts through :)

Check out the colour of weathered undercoat, dirty brown!

Hey what size ctec charger do you have Luke? Do you think the new 5amp ctek charger is sufficient for the Odyssey PC925?

When the battery gets flat you want to pump in more than 5 amps. You really need a charger that allows you to select what type of battery you are charging as each battery has different charging voltages. AGM is what a 925 is which needs 14.4 v where as wet needs 14.7. A good charger will also allow you to vary the charge current. I can select 1,2 , 6 , 12 or 25 amps on the projecta I have. You can borrow it to recondition you battery if you like. Just PM me. I also have a spare battery you can loan if yours is dead.

Speaking of cranes, do you only own the "floor" based (technical I know!) ones John or the ones that go on buildings cause I've always wonder how they get them up and down the buildings in places like Dubai?

You mean the Tower Cranes??

They get a bloody huge lump of concrete in the ground to bolt too. Use "Floor based cranes" to erect some of the tower then use a bigger "Floor based crane" to lift the top crane part on.

After that they erect themselves. What happens is the top section jacks itself up, then lifts up another frame up on its own. A monorail gets hold of it and you slide it under the top. Then the top bit jacks back down and you bolt it back up. So they climb the building on there own. As you go up most tie into the building for extra support.

The really tall ones like in dubai whave there own smoko room, kettle oven etc in the cab so you dont have to come down.

If that fails theres always the Heli option :)
