Closest thing to a date I can find on the sidewall of the tyre is "N5N0410" which means April 2010? dunno hey :/

Dropped into Wilkinson's today where I originally got them from and Brett quoted me $400 for the 265's and $410 for the 275's

Now if only the f*cking oddessy battery would stop going flat so I can drive the bloody thing!!!

Get a fullriver yellow $200(direct replacement) and a projecta trickle charger.

Looks like its the 41st week of 1900. I think the tyres may have gone a little hard by now. Was rubber even invented back then.

lol, ok did some googling and it was made in the 4th week of 2010, so they were made about a year before I purchased them.

Tyres age is relevant to wear. Oler tyres get harder and wear out slower, but you compromise grip. A year old is not too bad.

I buy my crane tyres and store them in the shed for at LEAST a year before I use them. They last twice as long. But the crane is not trying to break track records on roundabouts ...lol

Speaking of cranes, do you only own the "floor" based (technical I know!) ones John or the ones that go on buildings cause I've always wonder how they get them up and down the buildings in places like Dubai?
