Looking tops Mikey!

Anyone know how to undo a bolt that someone has overdone the loctite on?

Tried leverage, force, a hammer, heat and still no love

I have a big SHINY "Back off" intercooler now..Looks quite imposing with the bonnet bulge :)

And I am still waiting to be pulled over for a look at my permits!

stood out heaps on Leach Hwy today :)

What material is the bolted thread into? a good amount if heat will soften

the loctite but if it's been soaked in it you will need too reapply heat repeatedly

and it will be tioght all the way out.

if you can't even crack it I would suggest the thread has galled or picked up

or you have chicken arms?

remember people no more than 3 threads of loctite!

I took it to my mate who's pretty handy with that sort of thing and we ended up sorting it out. Didn't come easily either. It was reddish / yellow and 95% of the thread was covered in it!

Then we realised that the DBA 4000's I got sent were wrong..

Mike, is that sunset pic at Whitfords?
