This was driving around mostly above 80 though and being gentle on the throttle. Good hardware mods and staying at a consistent speed with low throttle is what does it.....unless you're a particular unliked tuner who often forces open loop and runs them leanish on cruise! Joins SEEM ok, I wonder if the stock wastegate is unable to remain shut enough? It still gets to about 10 PSI (holds 15 on dyno printout) but I have heard it emptying out (PSSHT) and felt it drop off. It then builds again and dumps it. Sorta surging acceleration feeling. Drag! I cant remember the last time (well I can, it was when the old man followed me down to the drags)that I cared or noticed my fuel economy. Our cars are made, especially when modded to go and drive fast. To drive fast, it takes fuel and lots of it. I enjoy watching my instant fuel reading going to 99.9 when I'm smashing it and I tell my friends to watch the display when doing so.I say, fuel economy is for tree huggers.
