Spotted,

Me going for a wild ride on Reid hwy today, Car developed a noise which i thought may have been a centre bearing or Pinion bearing

Car then developed a very nasty shudder and i was just able to get it off the Hwy and out of harms way to find the RH rear wheel ready too fall off the car (!!!) The only wheel nut that was still "tight" was the security nut. Car was packed at the Airport car park for aprox 1 hour yesterday. Only time its been out in the last two weeks. I think somebody may have had a crack at pinching a wheel. Me Rh rear wheel is now rooted, stud holes are about twice the size they should be.

So off too Alliance tomorrow to see if they can be fixed.

If not time for new wheels. Im thinking Axis hiros. Whats people thoughts on these in black or antracite on a velocity T?

ALso spotted a white lancer (I think) and a red ford ute (early E series maybe?) smoking the tyres as they turned at the lights on ROe/GEH. I had a laugh as I was pulling up and the ute was turning them just a little, gave him a grin and thumbs up, hahaha.

Oh and Stef... we need a heat source. I'm not experienced with putting them in ovens, lol. Sorry :) I need a bit of a whipping to get these things organised, always feel like doing nothing come weekend time :spoton:

Zaff said he'd do it for you for free though.

YIPEEE!!!!!!! The Falcon is back on the road with a new clutch set up. Thanks simon and the boys @ xtreme is a treat. Actually like the feel better than the AP ...

Whole new clutch or just plates?

If whole new clutch, I'll give you some coin for the old setup :crybaby:

Steve, you need Defi's!

I wouldnt be too concerned because most of the time they are just for bling only

Not too many people would have the skills to be driving hard, notice what is exactly happening with their gauges and to stop the car if needed.

Cheaper guages are worthless, but decent ones with accurate warning lights/sensors are very benificial whilst driving hard.

awww no replies today :(

An also what susepsion set ups are people running?

People with utes perferably?

thinking of some sl front an ssl rear king springs an maybe sway bars? but im not to sure on all this stuff

info Please :D?!!

Spend the extra $$$ and get something decent. Lowered springs & standard shocks are the ghey!

Have Pedders coilovers in my ute atm, but will be swapping them out with Bilsteins in the very near future as I loved them in my sedan. If you're keen for my current setup, send us a pm :3gears:

Axis Hiro's are rubbish. Heavy & ugly :roflmbo:

Buy something that isn't straight out of Hong Kong & you'll be much happier!

I'd also probably go for the black Luke. Black hides the dirt better which means less time cleaning the car!

But having said that, it would be good to see what they look like on the car with a quick photo chop chop. Surely someone out there can help our friendly mod to do this!
