I would like my twin 3" Manta to be a bit quieter on startup/low revs, but the twins almost always sound better than a big single.

The best sounding exhaust I've ever heard on an XR6T was the 4" dump/5" cat with standard catback like Brendan and I had - sounded bloody beautiful imo :pooh: With surge/injectors & a PW stage II cooler it didn't have any boost control issues either.

yeah ive heard that too, I like my 4'SMB with 5' cat and 4' exhaust at full throttle but it drones a bit when cruising, its personal choice, I like a bit of noise maybe because ive had v8's in the past

what kind of power gains did you make with the Manta setup?

So a dump and cat change only sounded best? I have a 5" rapid cat with 3.5" ends waiting to go in. You reckon a dump only added would sound best? That would look pretty stock I'd imagine?

No mufflers removed right?

Apparently tucking 4 tyres under the guards and having rims 4" larger than standard size is a valid reason to slap one of these on my car last night :(
