I've none of those in my back line but I do have chapman! I got Goddard, Kennelly and a few cheap randoms. I figure I need to keep Pav as captain again because he'll need to play awesome to help freo win :) All players scored but the cheap and nasties only scored like 50 or so. I have 107K leftover but to get the big names I'd need to sacrifice my forwards. Although Brown has been playing sh*t..

Will let you know... I think I'm being bullsh*tted by Ford..

So, my car is in to get warranty work done. The diff bushes are fine (apparently), the shunting noise I get from the rear when slowing down isn't a problem (well it is a problem because I can hear it and I don't like it). The worst thing is, there is a problem with the turbo. Now they told me it would cost me $500 to get the turbo stripped down to find out if there is a problem or not. So I kindly inform them that I have the 3 year new car warranty which I paid $2000 for. She got back to me and basically said that it will still cost me $500 to get the turbo stripped down, and if there is something wrong with the turbo then they will wix it under warranty up to the value for $2000.... Now I'm finding all of this bullsh*t. My warranty cars every inch of my car, bumper to bumper. Why is it costing me to have the turbo stripped down to find a problem? Shouldn't this be covered by warranty? Anyone suggestions of where to go from here?

standard new car warranty should cover it.I assume the car is mechanically stock ?

Why did you pay $2000 for it is it an extended warranty ?As D says what year is it ?

If it is an extended warranty I would be checking the fine print on the policy as I daresay the devil is in the detail,

and well hidden in the fine print

PMing you about the pump! Maybe injectors if Grug isn't keen but I have some boschs lined up to go in anyway, only chasing 300 atw.

Grug, that sounds sh¡te mate. You must have the extended new car warranty? They'd fix it up no cost otherwise. I had that thing thrown in when I bought but I knew I wasn't going to be using it. Expired when I got it serviced elsewhere anyhow.

I got the premium warranty cover. It's an 05 but it's covered up to 175,000 ks and 3 years (So 2012). Basically this is what they've told me on the phone...

They're going to open up the Turbo and have a look.

If it's something "mechanical" in the turbo, they'll do it under warranty up to the cost of $2000

If it is a gasket, I have to pay for the gasket to be replaced because it is not covered under warranty, however, I also have to pay the $500 for them to open up the Turbo to see what the problem was in the first place...

Now, I have my warranty booklet in front of me.. It states that the factor fitted turbo is a covered item. Now, I'm not very mechanically minded, but is there a gasket inside the turbo? If so, if that has to be replaced, would that not be covered because it is in the turbo which is a covered item? At the bottom of the booklet it says.. "Seals and Gaskets will be replaced only when such replacement is required in the normal course of repair of a covered part". To me that sounds like it's saying that if it has to be replaced to repair a covered part, then it will be done so under warranty. Would I be wrong in reading it that way?
