When I saw this thread I thought...

Are you ever going to stop modifying Brian!

But I see you've posted it for someone else.

Hi Citricxr6t,

I think firstly you need to work out what you want to achieve and then set your plans from there.

Phase 1 is a good BFYB option, so is CAPA edit both tuned by good tuners should see you into 240-250rwkw's but is that enough or do you want more?

Do you have a picture in mind as to what you want to achieve?

Edit: For your $4k as you've mentioned below I'd be looking at the Phase 2 as you already said or edit, injectors and valve springs, you might be able to get a high flow cat aswell with your budget.

adamxr6t whats edit buddy?

the thing is I got beaten by 3 lengths by a fuken vy ss gen3.that really pissed me off.

What power do I need so I can beat all theses fuken hsv?

Its not the colour mate, trust me :spoton:

Mate, have a look at other brands as well...some offer wat seem to be better packages then the current brand u are looking at. Most of the very fast T's on here have got work done by the horse power factory (HP-F).

For example have a look at this pack: LINK ->HPF - Venom Stage 2

Then consider for the same price, the other 'stage' by the other brand for the same price.

Hi citricxr6t

By Now your probably really confused!

I have had both tunes your looking at and APS Stage 2 and a custom Edit from Nizpro.

Having had the Edit for a week now I reckon it's faster and better to drive.

PS I work in Clayton if you want to go for a burn

Pm me for details

Derek.

I took San for a spin today.

I don't think he's very confused at all.

We talked about edit and what it can do for him, then we went to APS and talked to them.

No bullsh!t, just good info from both camps, I think he can make his own mind up about which direction to take.

Citricxr6t,

I've got the Nizedit, injectors, springs and 3 inch hiflow cat and am more than happy with the power output.

If you want to do the cat, I'd suggest that you do that 1st so that the custom tune would only need to be done once.

To do the 3 inch hiflow cat should be somewhere around the $300 - 500 mark.

Not sure what the pricing is for the Edit, injectors and springs in todays terms, speak to Simon about it.

By the way, I'm not advertising, but Simon can also do your Book servicing. That way you also have someone who knows your car.

Hi,

First of all I would like to thank Adam for taking me the APS and NIZPRO.

I learned a lot from both camps.

Adam mate your cars damn quick!!! Thanks for the ride. I really enjoyed it.

I personally think u need to upgrage your 15psi gauge to 20psi man!

your card too quick!!

Anyway, after yesterday's visit to both camps I finally made up my mind and decided to go with NIZPRO. Simply because CAPA covers warranty not only on the parts they supply but for the whole engine upto 1 yr or 20,000ks.

APS only cover their suppllied parts only.

CAPA also has 3 edit tunes and it has the flexibilty to tune your car to your own personal requirements whereas APS doesnt.

But, after reading a few more forums I heard about HPF!! REALLY INTERESTING!!

They look the goods!!

Stage 1 (VENOM) is $1695 which includes CAPA and K&N Filter and ofcourse a tune up!

NIZPRO offered $1995 for the edit and custom tune up to 3 maps. So what do u guys think is the better option???

Just be aware its actually Nizpro that offer the warranty on the motor and turbo, not Capa. Capa supply the flash boxes to HPF and Nizpro.  :spoton:

Nizpro do provide the warranty and the other one being Capa AT Amberley Autos (HPF) I dont know if they do?

Now worries San.

I'm sure you will be happy with either HPF or NIZPRO they would be the top 2 tuners in Victoria, if not the country.

If you think my car is fast get Craig to take you for a drive in his! :spoton:
