hey guys and gals.

I am new here I have been reading some of the topics with great interest so I decided to join and see what what it is all about.

I have just bought my first XR6 turbo.

I got it in black with the

upgraded sound

leather (soon to be black and red custom)

sports wheel

I have since put 19inch hp crome wheels on it(I don`t like crome but I like these)

ssl king springs

cappa edit

turbo smart bov

pioneer 12inch subs with line level converter

I am aobut to order my front mount and was thinking the awc front mount as it looks the goods.

I am getting a custom 3 inch zorst made up for me at my local muffler place.

it is a six speed manual and I was thinking of getting that quick shift unit from melborne but I have heard good and bad things about them.

the car has under 2000km on it so should I slow down for a while??

I am from the northern beaches(sydney) are there many other members from around this area??

cant wait to go for a drive and see 30 or 40 other modded T`s in the same area!!!

cheers

Clearly your pretty excited about your new car... as you should be!

You'll learn lots while looking through these forums.

Just one point if I may... I would do a bit more research before you put on that 3" exhaust, 3" exhausts are considered to be worse than the standard 2 x 2.25" exhaust.

Cheers,

Adam.

Welcome to the forum man :hiwelcome:

Why dont you go with an exhaust more well known, that has already proven itself with sound/powerformance?

Enjoy the T!

I was thinking of going with a system like the aps.

but I was having a chat with the guy from the performance shop and he said that you can make up a system using pre made parts for alot less money and have the same power gain!!

is this correct or is he pulling my leg??

he is very good at what he does but he also could be saying that so he makes more money out of me!

Welcome to the forums TWEAKIN'

Dunno how many are from Northern beaches, but there's plenty of us from NSW who meet up quite regularly during cruises. Hope to catch up with at a cruise soon.

Welcom to another Northern Beaches Member, I see a few black T's running around.

The Exhaust shop could make up a custom setup for you, but it would never match a APS setup as they are a work of art and engineering.

At the end of the day you will pay for what you get. While I am sure the local place would do a good job and you would get gains, most people why want under 300rwkw have found the stock setup perfect, except for the Cat.

If you can get either a hiflo cat or gut it, you will get a great result.

I have just ordered a black BF f6.
