Chances are, if you look very closely at the glass, that there is no stone chip etc.

The damn things just break if your spoiler touches ground ("if"? lol) and so on. Some say the cracks start at the mounting points.

I don't know if covers are the answer.....

I've done the passenger side foggy twice in just over two years. :msm::pinch:

Now I have Territory Fog Light covers. :msm:

:k24t:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

If you turned them off during sunny days you wouldn't have that problem!

Sorry to hijack the thread a bit. But I agree with Falchoon completly.

But worse than those people with the front fogs on all the time, are the idiots that are too ignorant to know that the rears also come on at the same time in certain european cars, BMW etc.

It isn't illegal to have the fronts on but it is illegal to have rears on (Vic).

I hate to dissapoint you there Steggels, but both of my "breakages" were due to stones, not over-heating from having the lights on. :msm:

... and I think I've worked out why you don't have them on. You think by having extra lights on, you'll incur a larger electricty bill ... and we all know how "wise" you are with $$$. :k24t:

I'm sure Cro is the guru here but you can get them from wholesalers like ingrams, you can get the same fog light or there is a spot light equiv.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

NT Turbo is spot on here, Ingram sell the globes and reflectors for dirt cheap.

They are just a Hella reflector.

As for the territory foglight protectors, not only do they look sh*t, they break as well. Your best bet is to get some 3M thick clear film over the foggies. They'll never crack then.

72,000kms on my car, and my front end is stone blasted, still got the same driving lights I had when I put them in 72,000kms ago

that's funny cause in NSW it's illegal to have your foggys on if its not foggy. As for the rear, your not talking about those single over lumient red lenses at the back that drive you crazy in clear whether are you? (Like on Hyundai Exels)

Yeah Cro I have 3M clear on the whole front apron and has been there since new. Great product. Completely undetectable until you have a real close look.

Cheers
