My Nankangs slip like a b**ch....i thought it was the torque convertor slipping that caused the wired vibration under hard accelleration on high grip surfaces but i have two sets of wheels and the other set are amg strada modulars with federal tires on them and once the fed's are hot the grab the road and dont spin or slip on the rims.....perhaps we could adapt some offroad beadlocks so we can stop the slip...... ps ive marked the rims and tires and the 300rwkw and 800nm that Simon from Xtreme has given me is making the P.O.S. Nanakangs cut laps round the rims.....im actually thinking about giving up on marking the tires and just fitting a lap counter to the tires....... A300srt8 Member 507 Member For: 19y 11m Posted 27/01/06 10:00 AM Author Share Posted 27/01/06 10:00 AM Well the latest isHad rim checked came back ok um ????had all tyres refitted all beads and tyres beads sqeaky clean they applied a black rubber compound re fitted marked tyres. Went for a slow drive of about 5 kms went back to tyre store the rears moved 5inches and the front about 4inches over the 3 days they kept moving.Back to tyre store ,changed 1 rear tyre with a second hand well known brand its moved half way around the rim in 8kms so its the rims not the tyres. Now I have to wait till the head manager gets back from holidays on Monday its either a new set of wheels from a differant batch or a full refund I will have to wait and see. turbotrana Member 2,586 Member For: 21y 7m 27d Gender: Male Posted 27/01/06 03:23 PM Share Posted 27/01/06 03:23 PM that's a really serious problem. Just imagine if the tyre came off on a high speed corner cause the bead did not seat the way it should. Maybe there should be a recall of all those rims for the sake of the owners of those rims and other road users who could suffer as a result of a accident caused by the failure of the rim.Keep us informed

Sorry I just ignored it and ended up getting 40 000 k from original tyres. ford and beaurepaires(dunlop) didnt seem too interested
