Posted 03/12/05 11:49 AM Share Posted 03/12/05 11:49 AM What is the exact (within reason) performace gain that you get out of replacing the factory twin system? Is it worth it? Or is the factory exhaust system perfectly suited for car's that are already running an edit and stuff? The only reason I ask is that I see car's happily running the factory exhaust system and getting what I see as extremely good power outputs at the wheels/on the dyno and on the street... Is it worth the money ($1950 for an off the shelf system) I have been quoted without dump pipe or is my money better spent on an edit and intercooler with a view to upgrading the exhaust when needed? Confused... I want to make my car quicker but aren't really sure as to where to put my money to best effect...CheersJack

I simply don't wanna toast my T5 on my way to work one morning... as you can probably imagine... and I want to sound better... I want it to sound like a jet... no exhaust noise at all...
