there were some mules testing on a beach I was surfing on and I had a bit of a look. they did not like me getting closer.

but these on the beach were petrol territorys.

and they had the bonnet vent and were really moving for a 4wd.

moving so much that one got stuck in the sand(not hard when you don`t have so much height!!

these all had black wheels and vic plates!!

Hey tweakn how certain R u they were petrol? Just because they had bonnet scoops and were going quick does not mean they cannot be diesels. Not having a go just wanting to know how certain you are.

Why does everyone assimilate Diesels with being slow? Diesel technology has come a very long way, and now most diesels are as quick or quicker than their petrol counterparts. I remeber Top Gear did a comparison test with the diesels vs petrol, very interesting.

I lined my My Diesel X5 (3.0l) against a VX Commadore and just beat it by qtr of a car length, and my car is not only smaller capacity, but also weighs a good 500kg more...

Cheers.

by the way the cars sounded!!

and the way they were starting and stopping.

the zorst note gave it away!!

I understand that diesel can be as quick or quicker just look at the new merc oil burners!!

the twin turbo and tri turbo coupes doing 0-100km in something like 4.7sec!!!

my TD5 landrover is one of the best 4wd I have ever driven!!! and the fuel economy is always a plus!!

LMAO.

Fair enough then! maybe they should put the Boss in it and twin turbo setup. Besides the fuel consumption that would be one hell of a beast.

Cheers JB :kissmy:

I think it's fairley clear now that they are petrol and not oil burners, the 2 members who have seen them in the flesh have both said they are petrol versions.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I was racing that night at Calder when Simon was there with the Territory. I had a chat with Simon and watched his runs, very impressive. If I had the money I'd get one.

Geea. :tosser:
