will it still have a top mount?as I dont think ford will bring it out with 245klws with a top mount cooler??!??

Why not, the standard XR6T intercooler is pretty small, so a top mount one wouldn't be any smaller. Makes sense to use all the same engine setup, saves on devlopment costs.

Maybe the shorter piping will bring back enough power to make up for a smaller intercooler anyway?

The problem would be the effect of heat build up - and resulting losses in power wouldnt it?

Apparently Ford have cast a restrictor bung into the intercooler body to try and keep engine power down and under control due to the lower pressure loss of the shorter neater top mount pipework.

I cant wait to get one of these things!
