Just remember 1 thing. This guy was totally repenant on the day he was executed and more importantly.... He has got a mother that had to endure all this more than any of you guys realize.

She lived it all right up till they took his life. Now she has to live with it for the rest of hers.

Because this is a growing forum that anyone can read, I think a little decorum should be adopted without the graphics.

Cheers

Yeah I do realise that. I was just making a point that we all make jokes but I think this one was in poor taste only due to the fact that he was only buried the other day.

Normally I would say anything about a joke but I was just thinking about this guys poor mum. Of cause she is going to hear the jokes and see the funny? cartoons but I think it is very unprofessional of this forum to allow it to continue here.

The thing is....we get banned if we slander someone here and yet we can make a joke about someone being hanged? It doesn't say much for the integrity of this forum.

Waiting for a ban again....................................

Cheers

This is not about supply demand.

Sign says "Traffic Drugs, Die!"

Doesn't read "Traffic drugs, be rewarded finacially or if your caught be remorseful and we will see what we can do"

I don't particularly want to get involved in this discussion but I wanted to point out a thing or 2. I don't like drugs but I do respect the right of people to make their own choices. If that involves them doing drugs that's upto them as long as it doesn't affect others. By this I mean having to commit crimes to feed their habits or affecting others when they are drug fcuked.

There are varying laws all round the world to try to control the trafficing of drugs. These differ in there severity and successfulness. If these laws worked there would be no supply and therefore no drug users. This over simplifies it but you get the idea.

Everyone is aware of the strict laws regarding drugs in a lot of the Asian countries. Those that choose to break the drug trafficing laws in these countries run the risk of heavy penalties, even death, if caught. If they are prepared to take that risk they know the results.

For those of you that keep sooking about his poor mother, have a look at the facts. She didn't do a real good job. One of her sons was/is a drug addict with large debts to dodgy people and the other has just been hanged for trafficing 1/2kg of heroin in a country with the death penalty for such crimes.

If parents accepted more liability for how their children turnout alot of these episodes wouldn't happen. The same could be said for the recent violence on Sydneys beaches. If the parents of those involved were made to be more liable for their childrens actions we would have alot less problems. Our whole way of life in this country is under threat because parents aren't doing their jobs and in some instances are being prevented from proper parenting by do-gooders and lawyers that are fcuking this country up.

For those of you that are feeling sorry for his mum because she took her son home in a box, think about the results if he hadn't been caught. Something like 24000 hits of Heroin, I think I heard somewhere. Image the lifes that this could have impacted on. It will also serve as a deterant to others with similar ideas.

I agree with most of that, execpt you contradict yourself, those 26000 shots would've been chosen to be taken, as you say in the beginning "doing drugs that's up to them".

Whilst yes I respect the right of people to make their own choices the fact is that the people around them are oftan placed in a position not of their own choice...

Whilst I feel sorry for his mother I'm not going to tip toe around the family of a convicted drug trafficker, to put it bluntly he f*cked up and now he's paid the price... I personally would have little problem if is body was strung up somewhere to remind people of the dangers of been involved with drugs (on any side of the equation)...

Yeah lets just string him up at Singapore airport in arrivals. People no the dangers of drug trafficing and they know they may die trying. Has it made a difference over the last 20 years. NO!!!

It's quotes like that that sicken me to the stomach. If the Singaporian Government choose to execute someone, at least they could do it humanely. Leathel injection perhaps.

Look at the Bali 9. One of them was only a young man that looked like a little boy. He is facing the firing squad because he screwed up. ONCE!!. No chance for rehabilitaion if your dead is there.

I have a 16 year old son. I only think of him if he were to ever get caught up with something like that. I am certain (as only a parent can be) that he won't but who knows. It would rip you apart as only you would no if you had kids.

Everyone is going on about ....well they no the dangers of drug trafficing....

What about the drug takers. Well they now the dangers of drug taking too.

Cheers
