I thought about it a while back and started practicing. The hurdle I had to get over was to train myself not to lift off the gas pedal at all when I clutch in. I flat change now whenever I want with no probs. Im pretty sure that Ive got it down so Im not bouncing off the rev limit also. Now to practice this on the strip.Back on topic: I dont think that flat changing will get you into 11's without huge power.Regards,Arthur Edited 28/03/06 08:10 AM by Max Power

Ie so the computer didnt know that you had engaged the clutch. Could this allow the ECU to leave boost alone (and it would drop a bit anyway as you lift of the throttle?).I have wondered about this before relating to the cruise control, ie if you are in 4th or 5th and want to change to maintain speed - then it would be good if the cruise control wasnt disabled as you change.Anyway - what will happen if you disconnect this - and what are the side effects? Possibly load and torque settings. Hopefully Martin or someone else with a better understanding of the edit could shed a little light on this. Geea. I've watched enough 11 second attempt to know that power isn't everything, but that simply isn't enough.
