yeah I know, T's have map sensors. AFM's are (rap anyway. Someone will hit 11's. My mates lancer did a 12.2 (manual) so I think a T will get into the 11's eventually. I cant understand why you would set up XRT for the 1/4 when you drive it on the street reguarly.......unless you have found a nice balance. WHat im trying to say is, getting a manual T into the 11's whilst retailing drivability on the street maybe a big compromise???? might be why no one's done it yet??

Nizpro did a Typhoon that was making high 300 rwkw, the owner had never drag raced before, it had a Nizpro Cobra stage two kit and ran 12.0. He ran 102 mph to half track and hit the breaks before the end, as he reckon'd he did'nt no where the end of the track was so he crossed the line at 98 mph.His 2 nd run he missed 3rd gear and ran 12.8 at 118mph.

You can roll from half track and it wont affect your ET that much but your mph will dive big time

example I rolled from half track ran a 10.7 @ 102 with my mid track mph of 110mph

so your example above doesnt really prove much

When you work it out let everybody know cause no one has done it yet problem is the xr6 turbo loses to much boost and power between gear changes due to the computer nothing like a vl turbo

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

one of the few advantages of having a twenty year old ecu that doesn't realy know much so much about what is going on...

Whats's the go with it losing boost alot of boost between gear changes? the ecu can't slow down the turbo, or are you refering to some ecu torque limiting thing?

I'm new to the world of xr6t's, just wanna make sure I know what's going on before I start saving for one and sell the vlt. I realy want a manual but maybe it's just not as practical an option as with the vl, which one has run a 10.7 in manual guise.

any way thanks for the info, maybe I should consider an auto.

But we are only looking for .001 and it would have been an 11 sec pass I think you would agree with that. And that was the ORIGANAL question.

Hmm, I can't edit my above post, it's a bit rough, is their a time limit on edit's...

So it seems that an easy 11 second street car, with a manual is just not very realistic? I guess it'd still do pretty well in roll on situations.
